Set into the hillside, the house is totally private yet commands fabulous views and is only a short walk to the bowling green, the harbour anfd the centre of the village with its numerous hotels, restaurants and pubs.
Portpatrick is one of the most popular holiday destinations in South West Scotland. The traditional village, arranged round the spectacular harbour overlooking the North Channel, is a wonderful base from which to explore the area. To the north are spectacular beaches and the rocky coastline by Killantringan and Corsewall Lighthouses and to the south the pretty village of Port Logan with its superb sandy beach, the coastal village of Drummore and the Mull of Galloway with its lighthouse and visitor centre.
For the sportsman there is a magnificent clifftop golf course in the village and numerous other golf courses all within easy reach. This is an ideal location for sea fishing both from the shore or by boat. For the cyclist and walker there are numerous quiet country roads throughout the area plus the Southern Upland way running from Portpatrick right across Scotland to the East coast. Horse riding and instruction can be arranged through the owner and there is something in this area to suit everyone.
