The picturesque harbour fishing town of Kirkcudbright, The Artists" Town, is 2.5 miles and provides, amongst other things, art exhibitions, galleries, boat trips, eating out, golf, fishing, library, medical centre, pubs, indoor swimming pool, specialist shops, vet and wildlife centre.
