How to book your holiday with Discover Scotland

Please take your time to browse through our brochure or web site and ring our office should you have any questions. We will be more than happy to help.

Reservations of all accommodation are accepted by Discover Scotland under our Terms and Conditions

Use the instructions shown below to ensure a straightforward booking:

Using our Web site to make your booking:

1. Log onto www.discoverscotland.net and if you know the reference number of the property you are interested in, enter the number in the Search By Code box in the left hand Search Panel and click Search. From the next page displayed, which are the full cottage details, you can check the availability and price of the property for your holiday dates. Alternatively if you simply want to know which properties are available then use the Property Search form above. This will give you a listing of available properties for the dates you require.

2. When you have chosen an available property you can then click on the “Reserve" button at the bottom of the cottage details page. This will show a form, which you need to complete to submit your reservation request. PLEASE NOTE this is only a reservation request only and the reservation will only become a booking when we confirm it with you. This is very important. If you do not hear back from us within 7 working days, you should call the office.

3. Your details are sent electronically to us and we will contact you to confirm the booking.

4. You can send a cheque or pay by credit/debit card the amount due when we contact you. (Please note: To secure your booking we must receive your booking form within five days of making your booking. If the booking is made within eight weeks of uour holiday start date we require the full payment immediately)

5. You will receive an invoice detailing the balance to be paid and showing the due date. Please return the cut off slip with your payment for the due date. (A charge is made only for balance payments by credit card)

6. On receipt of your final payment we will forward directions to your property and availability of keys. On receipt, please read carefully and contact us with any queries.

By Telephone to make your booking:

1. Telephone our office on 01556 504030 giving your requirements. We will advise you of availability, help you make your choice (if needed) and make a booking for you. This will be held for FIVE working days pending receipt of your payment.

(Please Note : To secure your booking we must receive your booking form within FIVE days of your phone call. If your booking is made within eight weeks of your holiday date, we require the full payment on booking.)

Complete the Booking Form, remembering to sign it, and send it with your one third deposit to us at:

2. Alternatively, when you telephone, you may find it easier to pay by credit/debit card.   We can then process your booking the same day and send your receipt and paperwork to you. (A charge is made only for balance payments by credit card)
